1. Forgot your Gmail password
To recover your Gmail password you need to follow in few steps:
- Go to the Google Account recovery page.
- Enter your Email or Phone number and click the “Next” button.
- Enter any one-digit password for the recovery process and click the “Next” button.
- If you already added a recovery Gmail account Google will send you a verification code to your recovery email address. Enter that code and click the “Next” button.

- Go to the Google Account recovery page.
- Enter your Phone number and click the “Next” button.
- Enter your First and last name and click the “Next” button.
- Google will send you a verification code to your phone number. Enter that code and click the “Next” button.
Now as a last step choose your account. That’s it your Gmail Account now recovered.
3. Verification Using Another Device
To recover your Email Address or password you need to follow in few steps:
- Go to the Google Account recovery page.
- Enter your Phone number or email address and click the “Next” button.
- Enter any two-digit password and click the “Next” button.
- Google will send you a popup notification to your other phone. Click on the “Yes it’s me” button.
Important: Google never asks for your password or verification codes over email, phone calls, or messages.
4. Recover a recently deleted Gmail Account
To recover your recently deleted Email account you need to follow in few steps:
- Go to the Google Account recovery page.
- Enter your Phone number or email address and click the “Next” button.
- Google will be asked some questions to confirm it’s your account.
- When your account is recovered, create a password that you haven’t already used with this account.
